growing up

Just now my girls have been playing so nicely together and today I feel a little bit sad about the big girls going to school in just two weeks. There is a piece of my heart that wants them to be little always - to have them stay close to me forever. But to live is to change for change is the nature of life here and now, and my I am confident that this is a good decision for this year. So I'm just going to savor today and enjoy this moment while it lasts.



Thursday was "beach day" the kids all had such a good time, even the baby! We played in the sand and splashed in the lake, I got an awful sunburn on my back but we had a lovely day. It was nice to be with them without distractions and to spend some time in the sunshine! My camera is still in the shop so these are all from my cell phone.
